Rednecks West!!!- Our summer tour worked out so well that our Summer Tour '09 is already in the works. We have booked our Canmore and Red Deer gigs for mid July. Watch the site for updates. J.P. and the Bar Flies are in the studio starting in October to record a new CD. The core band will do most of the work, while we will be enlisting the talents of many special guests. Watch for release dates in the spring.

J.P. and Brian Griffith continues to knock them out on
at the Cat & Fiddle in Hamilton. This scaled down version of the Bar Flies cooks from 10 to 1:30 AM every Thursday Night.

Artword Theatre @ The Pearl is producing a play based on the songs and life of our very own J.P. Riemens to be launched in April of '09. Playwrite Ron Weihs has created a script based on conversations with JP and the contents of his songs. The present working title is "Tobacco Troubador"
